A living treasure
1500 watchmaking pieces including pocket watches, wristwatches, clocks; 800 machines and tools testament to the equipment once used in the workshops; original period furniture, not to mention an incredible number of exclusive archives, including Jean-Marc Vacheron's baptism certificate... the Manufacture's treasury is immense and represents the largest collection of Vacheron Constantin pieces in the world. And as with any collection, it is in no way fixed in time, it continues to grow following auctions or donations. A story told through themed exhibitions in our Boutiques...
The principle "always in motion" specific to the Maison is even truer when it applies to a collection of vintage watches. After their acquisition by the Heritage Department, these pieces are authenticated and restored according to the rules of the art with the ultimate aim of offering them for sale. Enthusiasts and connoisseurs of the Maison who wish to own an antique model experience intense emotion in reviving these rare pieces.
