Métiers d'Art Les Aérostiers - Versailles 1783

40 mm , 18K white gold

An ode to the adventurers of the sky, this model tells the story of one of the first flights made in France on a hot-air balloon, in 1783. This work of art features plique-à-jour enameling, a technique never previously used by the Maison. It depicts a miniature stained-glass window with a hand-engraved balloon in the center which captivates with its rich details. This 18K white gold self-winding watch is stamped with the Hallmark of Geneva and limited to 5 pieces each engraved with its own individual number.
